Project Manager and Planning Lead | Client: Main Roads WA | 2023 – 2026

Okami Cho is leading the planning study for the long-term upgrade and duplication of approximately 15km of Coolgardie-Esperance Highway, one of Western Australia’s key regional corridors. The project encompasses highway duplication, four rural roundabout upgrades at major intersections, and a full suite of technical investigations including alignment options, road safety analysis, environmental and heritage studies, and traffic analysis.
Working closely with the Main Roads Goldfields-Esperance Region, our role spans the full breadth of planning — from coordinating multidisciplinary design inputs and leading stakeholder workshops, through to preparation of the access strategy and route definition report. It’s the kind of project that demands both technical rigour and genuine stakeholder engagement, and we’re delivering both.
